You entice us with meaning
That undermines your existence
You delude us with order
Symmetry and beauty
That shield your woes
The harms you inflict

Do you cry silently,
Over destructions you wrought?
Do you whimper in agony,
Over hopes you dashed?

Or do you laugh mockingly,
In vicious sadism,
Laden with schadenfreude,
Glorifying our misery?

Perhaps you are
Blissfully ignorant,
Of your creations and destructions
Going about mindlessly
Unaware of your power

Perhaps you are
Too indifferent to be angry
Too callous to care for your offspring
Too shallow to foresee consequences
Too dull to grasp your absurdity
Too absurd to validate your absurdity
